MDC Partners is realigning four of its agencies under the Yes and Company specialist network to provide clients a “cohesive and comprehensive strategic and creative offering."

Bruce Mau Design, Hello Design, Northstar and Varick will form the "first vertically integrated specialist network" designed to provide clients with a more nimble and adept agency offering, while giving each agency a deeper bench of talent and a more comprehensive set of services.

There are no plans at this time to add additional shops to the new grouping. 

Michael Bassik, MDC Partners managing director and president, digital, will lead the new 200 employee-staffed network as CEO.

“Agencies that do it all are no replacement for specialists that do it best,” stated Bassik. “Marketers are in search of agile, skilled and collaborative teams that can help them expertly navigate disruption.”

Fast casual chain Just Salad serves as the inaugural client, and Yes and Company is working with a multinational consumer electronics company to launch a new product later this year.  

All four agencies will continue to operate separately under their current leadership teams to service existing clients, tapping Yes and Company partners or going to market holistically when new opportunities arise.
