Wild Card/3AM Adds A CMO; Dailey Hires Chief Strategy Officer

Tara DeVeaux, who’s been CMO at BBDO NY since January of 2017 is leaving to join Los Angeles-based  entertainment marketing company Wild Card and sibling creative agency 3AM as CMO.

The 11 year-old Wild Card is run by founder Nick Temple and 3AM was founded as a joint venture between Wild Card and Ridley Scott’s RSA Films in 2014.

DeVeaux’s experience includes a previous tenure at BBDO New York as an executive vice president and senior account director leading teams for brands such as HBO, Mountain Dew and American Red Cross.  She has also held account management positions at agencies SpikeDDB and Young & Rubicam.

Separately, Los Angeles-based agency Dailey has hired Susannah Laracy in the newly created role of Chief Strategy Officer. Laracy is the latest leadership hire in the wake of Dailey buying back its independence last year from Interpublic Group.

Laracy will oversee strategy for Dailey’s clients, including Honda Powersports, Carnation Breakfast Essentials and Dole.

Most recently Strategic Planning Director with Pitch, Laracy has more than 15 years of planning experience spanning multiple categories from automotive to packaged goods to beauty. She has developed communications for brands such as Lexus, Neutrogena, Masterfoods, Nestle and Pennzoil at agencies including TBWA/Chiat/Day, McCann-Erickson, DDB NY and Team One.
