A coalition of tech companies, including Facebook, Google and Twitter, claim they are well ahead on plans to prevent extremists publishing terror content online, the
BBC reports. The Global
Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism claims to have tagged 88,000 pieces of terror content to prevent them being posted elsewhere, and has shared nearly 5,000 links where terror content is hosted.
