Marketing Store Taps Rivera For NA CCO Role

Customer engagement agency The Marketing Store, has hired Michael Rivera for the role of chief creative officer for the firm’s North America region.   

Rivera will be responsible for leading creative across mobile experiences, branded gamification, and package design. He will work with Boxer, a branding design boutique housed inside The Marketing Store, as well as with the London and Hong Kong creative agency leadership teams.

Rivera has previously served as executive creative director at The Integer Group/TBWA as well as at agencies including MARC USA, Agency.com and JWT. He’s worked with brands including Michelin, LG, MillerCoors, Nike and HP.

The appointment follows the company’s addition last month of Brian Barthelt to run the company’s U.S. retail business which includes client McDonald’s.
