RockYou Media, whose catalog of brands promote the voices of multicultural millennials, announced it has acquired CafeMom, MamasLatinas and Revelist.
Following the recent acquisitions of LittleThings, which was briefly shuttered after the Facebook algorithm change earlier this year, and FanBread, the female-led company anticipates reaching 50 million unique users by the end of September.
“RockYou Media continues to scale our business by acquiring proven digital brands known for their engaged audience and premium content experiences:” stated Lisa Marino, CEO, RockYou Media.

Marino added its new properties allow the company to continue to reach “diverse audiences throughout all stages of life” through “compelling stories with passionate video content”
CafeMom, a platform connection moms and moms-to-be, Revelist, a mobile-first publication focused on fashion and beauty, and MamasLatinas, a bilingual and bicultural publication for women, reach a combined audience of 18 million unique visitors monthly.
Broken down, CafeMom reaches 12.2 million, Revelist 2.4 million and MamasLatinas 2.4 million per comScore. The company also acquired BabyNameWizard, which counts 1 million unique visitors per month.
The addition of these titles will rank RockYou Media in the top 10 lifestyles category on comScore.
The acquisition brings with it a new roster of sales, editorial and engineering teams to ensure continuity of content and tone, while also expanding RockYou Media’s ability to engage to the site’s audiences and attract new viewers.
Marisa Russell, SVP Sales, RockYou Media, stated: “RockYou’s mission to inspire our most diverse generation aligns perfectly with our brands’ pursuit to provide fresh perspectives and original content for our audiences.”
