Sharon O'Sullivan Named CRO, OZY Media

Ozymedia, the multiplatform online media company founded in 2013, today announced that former Discovery Communications advertising executive Sharon O’Sullivan would become its new Chief Revenue Officer.

The position is new for Ozy Media. 

O’Sullivan served as the executive vice president of client and brand partnerships at Discovery Communications, and before that post worked with ESPN, Fox and CBS.

According to the company, O’Sullivan will be responsible for driving sales across Ozy.com, its TV series, podcasts and events. She will work closely with existing advertisers, including JPMorgan Chase, Discover, Intel, Volvo, Netflix, Lufthansa and Anheuser-Busch, to deepen existing revenue streams along with creating new ones. 

She will also be responsible for collaborating with current advertisers to create new possibilities for sponsorship and advertising.

Separately, Publishers Clearing House(PCH) announced the appointment of Andy Goldberg to chairman of the board of directors. He will be replacing longtime chairman and former CEO Robin Smith. 

Smith will remain a member of the board. She had served as chairman for 15 years in addition to 21 years as CEO of PCH

Goldberg, who has worked with PCHfor 35 years, will continue to serve as the company’s president and CEO in addition to his new role. 

Goldberg stated he’s eager to further the evolution of the company’s level of engagement and trust with users, in addition to deepening the company’s work with marketers and advertisers.
