OKRP Expands Creative Department; Creative Vet Joins Airtype

Chicago-based agency OKRP has expanded its creative department with the addition of nine new employees including two creative directors, four associate creative directors and others.  

Among the new faces, Carolyn Bergen, who previously trouped with Leo Burnett and mcgarrybowen, and Publicis alum Michelle Litos, are joining the agency as CDs who will partner on the Big Lots account. 

Five-year creative partners Danae Belanger and Madison Jackson are coming on board as associate creative directors after working together at mcgarrybowen and DDB, where they collaborated on such brands as Skittles, McDonalds, State Farm, Kohler and Olive Garden. 

Separately, Martin Davidson is jumping from the client side at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to join Airtype, a creative studio of developers, designers and strategists, as executive director. Based out of the agency's Winston-Salem, NC office, he will report to founder Bryan Ledbetter. 

In addition to previously serving as global creative director at Krispy Kreme, Davidson's previous experience includes agency roles as chief creative officer at Woodbine and vice president, creative director at MullenLowe in both Boston and Winston-Salem, NC. He also spent five years as president, creative partner at DavidsonRoth.
