Dow Jones Drops Out Of CNBC Deal, NBC Universal Takes Full Control

Dow Jones & Co. and NBC Universal Thursday said they were ending their long-running partnership to jointly operate the CNBC International channels. CNBC will assume control of the CNBC International channels and will acquire sole ownership of CNBC Europe and the domestic digital service, CNBC World on Dec. 31. Dow Jones currently controls a 25 percent stake. -- J.M.
