Colle McVoy Scores Minnesota United Lead Agency Assignment

Minnesota United (MNUFC) is appointing Colle McVoy as the Major League Soccer club's new lead agency following a formal review. Zeus Jones was the incumbent.

The agency's scope includes strategic planning and creative, which will evolve the club’s successful “Scarves Up, Minnesota” campaign and help build upon the messaging across the eight to 10 events planned for the 2019 season.

“It was essential to us that our partner in branding be able to provide comprehensive multimedia capabilities, and Colle McVoy offered a vision of where we could go together that is both exciting and inspiring," stated John Guagliano, senior vice president of marketing and communications, MNUFC.

Minnesota United joined MLS as the league’s 22nd team in 2017 and is St. Paul’s second major league sports team (it’s also home to hockey’s Minnesota Wild). In 2019 it will begin to play at the new soccer-specific Allianz Field, which cost $150 million to construct according to the stadium's website. MNUFC's current home is at TCF Bank Stadium in St. Paul.
