BMF Media Sets Up Shop In London

BMF Media Group is opening its first international operation in London as the experiential agency seeks to better serve UK-based clients and generate broader EMEA business.

Craig MacIntyre departs Apple where he served on the EMEA marketing practice to join BMF London as director, EMEA to manage the team covering accounts, production, design, and strategy. Recent hires include industry veteran and former Virgin Atlantic international events lead Christianne Beck, who joins as associate director of events, with further staff growth planned over the coming months.

"It’s a combination of new hires, as well as relocating two key employees from the New York headquarters to London," says MacIntyre. "That said, we’re are focused on ramping up local talent hires that come with significant international expertise."

This expansion was driven by client demand as the agency has recently signed global clients including Marriott International, Dell, and Omnicom. The network, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, and Miami, also has joined Worldwide Partners Inc. (WPI), the largest owner-operated global agency network, to bring BMF’s integrated experiential offerings to more markets.

Despite on-going uncertainties surrounding the Brexit, there was no question where the agency wanted to establish its first overseas footprint. "London remains a leading global city, and is the perfect gateway from which to build our international base, serving EMEA and rest of the world," says MacIntyre.
