Arnold Taps Vilakazi To Head Integrated Production

Havas agency Arnold has appointed Zamile Vilakazi as its new executive vice president, head of integrated production. A Boston native, Vilakazi will be based in the agency’s headquarters in Boston, working alongside chief creative officer, Icaro Doria, to help drive the agency’s creative output and to foster collaboration within the production and creative teams.

Vilakazi’s appointment follows the recent additions of Guy Lambert, CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER, and Lucia Ferrante, chief financial officer, last month, as well as two new executive creative directors--Max Geraldo and Fred Saldanha--who joined the agency earlier this year.

For the past six years, Vilakazi has worked as a freelance executive producer for advertising agencies including Wieden + Kennedy, 72 and Sunny, Saatchi & Saatchi, Barton F. Graf, and Mother. During that time, she produced campaigns for adidas, L’Oreal, ESPN, and Target, among others.

Some of her most celebrated work includes Walmart’s Cannes Lions winning Oscars campaign as well as adidas’ “Here to Create Change” campaign featuring Billie Jean King for the 2018 US Open.

Prior to her freelance career, Vilakazi wrote and produced original content in the Y&R Entertainment division and was also on staff in the Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis production departments.
