The YouTube-focused ad technology firm Zefr named Rob Cukierman senior vice president, strategy and measurement, and Daniel Oakins vice president, platform commercialization.
Cukierman, who will be in charge of Zefr’s measurement-driven brand solutions for the content targeting platform, previously led global sales strategy and partnerships at Vevo.
Oakins joins Zefr from the ad tech firm GrapeShot. He will lead development of video targeting technology for Zefr.
The hiring of Oakins and Cukierman comes as Zefr rolls out a new suite of content filters for YouTube, one that it says “will give programmatic buyers direct control over the placement of their advertisements on the platform for the first time.”
The new filters include kids and English-only options, in an effort to ensure brand safety and suitability.
