Bluecore Acquires Betaout, Extends Footprint To India

Bluecore, a firm that helps firms launch personalized communications in email and other channels, has acquired Betaout, a marketing automation platform for use in ecommerce. The terms were not disclosed.

The purchase extends Bluecore’s global reach to India, and the firm has also announced the launch of Bluecore India.

“Betaout brings expertise in channels beyond email, like Facebook, onsite, mobile push, SMS, that are critical to the future of the retail marketing tech stack,” states Fayez Mohamood, CEO and co-founder of Bluecore.

“Betaout was founded in 2014 with the goal to humanize e-commerce experiences, and our ability to do so has grown significantly when merged with Bluecore,” adds Ankit Maheshwari, CEO and co-founder of Betaout.

Earlier this month, Bluecore announced the opening of an office in London as part of its international expansion.

Bluecore claims that it enables retail brands to achieve growth without using third-party consumer data and cookies.
