Kohl’s led the way in online sales growth on Cyber Monday, experiencing a 42% gain year-over-year, according to Edison Trends.
Nordstrom came in second with a 33% increase, followed by Macy’s with 30%.
In contrast, Amazon generated 17% growth, while Jet.com suffered a 39% decline.
Macy’s had a 36.4% market share in its category compared to 31.7% for Kohl’s, 20.9% for Nordstrom, and 9.8% for J.C. Penney. But Amazon dominated with a 72.1% market share.
Walmart achieved 10.4%, while Target came in at 10% and Sears had market share of 1.2%
Nordstrom saw the highest cost-per-order increase at $12. But J.C. Penney enjoyed a decline ($10), as did Target $5). Amazon had a $3 cost hike.
