Dentsu Aegis Network has reached an agreement to acquire a 70% share in Videobeat Networks, a media and content agency in Germany.
Founded in 2011, Videobeat focuses on TV and online video campaigns.
According to Dentsu Aegis, it has a particular knack for data-driven video advertising, given its proprietary software to enhance placement, management and analysis of video content cross-platforms and optimized in real time.
The 72-person agency has offices in New York, Berlin, London and Paris; it is based in Hamburg, Germany.
The deal includes an option to buy the remaining 30% stake in the future. The acquisition is subject to German regulatory approval.
