Court TV's Web site on Monday launched a weekly online blog called the "Bloom Blog," written by Court TV News Anchor Lisa Bloom. Each week, Bloom plans to chime in on a topical issue of legal
significance in the news. She will address topics ranging from whether Supreme Court nominee John Roberts should be asked about his wife's affiliation with pro-life organizations to issues of child
abuse, victimization of women, and misbehaving celebrities, according to a company statement. Bloom, who joined Court TV in 2001 as an anchor, is a former civil rights attorney. -- Gavin O'Malley
