MRC Certifies Weather Channel's Methods--For Ads, Not Forecasts

The Weather Channel Interactive, Inc. (TWCi), publisher of weather.com, Monday said it has received a certification from the Media Rating Council for its online ad impression delivery and counting methods, as well as its internal processes and controls. The certification follows an audit of the system and procedures by PricewaterhouseCoopers. TWCi's methods are based on guidelines developed by the Interactive Advertising Bureau. -- Joe Mandese
