Email security firm Agari has named John Giacomini as chief revenue officer.

Giacomini will be responsible for growing direct and channel sales, and for customer success functions.

In his most recent position, Giacomini served as EVP of global sales at Cylance, a threat protection company that received a $1.4 billion acquisition offer from Blackberry late last year.

Giacomini has also held the title of EVP of worldwide field operations for Forcepoint.

Also joining Agari is Trevor Pagliara, as head of North America sales. Pagliara previously served as vice president of sales for North America at Callsign.

Agari provides a secure email cloud service that relies on predictive AI.
