NYC steakhouse, Smith & Wollensky and agency Walrus are pulling a light-hearted real estate takeover on local competitor, Del Frisco’s, by replacing all 62 phone kiosk ads formerly held by the neighboring steakhouse just as its media run had come to an end.
The new out-of-home ads employ friendly banter notifying people about this project as a "public service to steak lovers." Another ad states this spot was taken over by a "bigger, better steakhouse. But hey, that's New York real estate for you." Ads will run through February 4th.
