Uber has pulled its app from Barcelona, according to
The Telegraph. It follows public demonstrations and a city-wide cab strike which led the Catalan authorities to pass stricter rules
regarding taxi hailing which included a 15-minute wait between requesting a cab online and being picked up. Uber cars were also banned from circling the streets waiting for a job.
