Mondelez International Names Scrum50 Ecommerce AOR

South Norwalk, CT-based marketing agency Scrum50 has been named ecommerce agency of record for consumer goods giant Mondelez International.

The award comes after the agency completed a series of successful projects for the client including Amazon launches for Trident Vibes and back-to-school/Halloween programs for Multi-Pack snacks, Oreo, Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish.

“In our relatively short time working together, Scrum50 has demonstrated a command of the Amazon landscape, delivered thoughtful, insight-driven creative, then executed efficiently through their agile approach,” stated Chris Butler, head of ecommerce North America at Mondelez International . “Our ecommerce channel has grown share in very competitive categories and seasons much quicker than anticipated thanks to Scrum50’s strategy and support. “

The company continues to build out its ecommerce platform globally, which it said in its latest annual report would “play a critical role in our ambition to be the best snacking company in the world.”

“Our ecommerce success relies specifically on the category and shopper insights we develop together in partnership with our clients so that we can fully understand what makes them tick and then deliver that messaging and creative directly to them,”  said Stacy Thomson,  vice president of eBusiness for Scrum50.

The  agency has also created ecommerce programs for Gerber Naturals Baby Formula, Conair, Welch’s, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden and others.

    Horrible choice. Selection likely made by IT department.  The agency website is designed by an engineer.
