Prime Video's Big SXSW Activation

Lest you thought HBO was going to be the only media company at the upcoming SXSW confab hyping the bejesus out of a program (the last season of Game Of Thrones in its case) Amazon Prime wants you to know, that ain’t the case.

Prime, in fact, will be on location with an activation hyping the bejesus out of one of its new shows, "Good Omens," based on the 1990 novel, “Good Omens: The Nice And Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch.”

There will be plenty to drink, of course, as well as appearances and conversations with author and executive producer, Neil Gaiman, director and executive producer Douglas Mackinnon, and series stars Michael Sheen, David Tennant and Jon Hamm.

The activation has other stuff as well, going on from March 8 to 11 in Austin, Texas.

Call me crazy, but I’m willing to bet real money that other media companies will also be on hand with activations promoting old, new and somewhere-in-between-type offerings.
