The Mexico City-based business and consumer magazine publisher Grupo Editorial Expansión (GEE) has been purchased by Time Inc., it was announced this week. Details of the transaction were not
disclosed. Among the 15 titles published by GEE include the business magazine
Expansión and the celebrity-based
Quién. GEE had previously been owned by the Mexican
corporation Editorial Medcom S.A. de C.V.
