IAB Names Scott Schiller Exec-In-Residence

Scott Schiller, a longtime digital publishing executive, has been named an “executive-in-residence,” a staff position at the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Schiller, most recently executive vice president-general manager at Comcast’s NBC Universal unit, is a former chairman of the IAB’s board and one of its cofounders.

In his new role, the IAB said Schiller will provide “strategic guidance, so it can strengthen its support of the needs of its members as they adapt to the rapid business changes originating from the new direct brand economy.”

He is the fourth industry executive to serve in the IAB In-Residence program.

Schiller follows Peter Naylor, currently senior vice president-advertising sales at Hulu, John Frelinghuysen, former executive vice president for digital media at Disney/ABC Television, and Jim Norton, currently Chief Revenue Officer at Dosh.
