Discovery Inc. has tapped Keith Kazerman to serve as executive vice president, digital sales, advanced advertising and research.
In his new role, Kazerman will oversee all sales efforts for Discovery’s digital efforts, including websites, social media, VOD and streaming apps. He will report to Jon Steinlauf, chief U.S. ad sales officer for Discovery.
Kazerman was most recently senior vice president, research, data and Engage at Discovery. Engage is the company’s advertising analytics and data platform. He also led the team responsible for branded partnerships.
Steinlauf stated the company wants to “prioritize” the digital businesses. It will be helpful “to have a singular leader spearheading these important initiatives.”
Lauri Baker and Aaron Gallagher, both senior vice presidents, digital ad sales, will report to Kazerman under the new structure.
