Survey Finds Consumers Keen On Bundling Video And Music Streaming Services

When Hulu and Spotify dropped their subscription price for a bundle of Spotify Premium and Hulu’s ad-supported streaming service to $9.99 per month from $12.99, they apparently left some money on the table, according to a nationwide survey of U.S. consumers on what they are willing to pay for bundled streaming subscription services (see ranges above).

The survey also found consumers overwhelmingly like the idea of bundling services, with two-thirds (66%) saying they were likely to purchase a movie and TV streaming service that also bundled music streaming with it.

Almost as many (63%) said bundling multiple services under one account would make them more likely to subscribe to a streaming service.

The poll was fielded before Apple unveiled its new Apple TV+ streaming bundle this week, which will be available in May.
