Prestone Products Selects Doner As AOR

Prestone Products Corp., maker of anti-freeze, radiator sealants and other under-the-hood auto products, has appointed Doner as its strategic and creative agency of record following a competitive review. 

The MDC Partners-owned agency will oversee strategy and creative across traditional, social and digital channels, working in partnership with sibling agency Assembly to lead integrated media.

While incumbent agency Schiefer Chopshop (SCS) has held the account since 2016, the company sought a "full-package" agency that could "seamlessly connect the dots between marketing, advertising and sales,” says Gretchen Hickman, vice president of marketing, Prestone.

“Few agencies have deep experience in CPG, retail and automotive, and Doner came to the table with all three, combined with a modern approach to building brands,” she adds.

The company spent about $1.6 million on measured media in 2017 and about $250,000 last year according to Kantar Media.
