AOL Music Scores Frito-Lay's Dorito For First View

Frito-Lay's Dorito brand has signed on as the exclusive sponsor for AOL Music's First View program and AOL Music's Summer Music package, America Online said. The sponsorship goes live on the AOL service today with a First View for "Roll Over DJ," a new video from the Australian garage rock band Jet.

AOL First View is a venue for debuting music videos 24 hours before they are available anywhere else, including television. First View artists have included Usher, Outkast, Avril Lavigne, Madonna and The Strokes.

Dorito will also sponsor the AOL Summer Music package which offers AOL members exclusive content including tour photos. A Summer Concert Guide offers touring schedules, music festival dates and the chance to purchase tickets online via AOL Tickets Dorito is also sponsoring a sweepstakes that offers AOL members the chance to win a trip to attend a LeAnn Rimes concert and to meet the artist; prizes also include music from Apple's iTunes Music Store.

AOL Music channels reach an audience of more than 17 million visitors who stream up to 4 million songs and music videos each day, according to AOL. The AOL Music Network includes the AOL Music Channel, Winamp.com, Netscape Music and Radio@Netscape, AOL.com Music, Shoutcast.com, CompuServe Music and ICQ Music. AOL Music's offerings also include AOL for Broadband features such as Broadband Rocks and Sessions@AOL Full Set.
