Google App Policy Center Launches

Google introduced on Thursday the App Policy Center for Google AdMob and Ad Manager as a place for publishers to access information on the process and handling of policy violations.

"We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience on Google AdMob and Ad Manager," wrote John Brown, head of publisher policy communication at Google, in a post.

The access to the correct tools and information on the home page dashboard that users will have once they are signed in to an account can streamline and simplify advertising processes.

Google bills the policy center as the one destination to help publishers understand everything related to policies, and then take action if needed.

The dashboard provides a place for publishers to view current warnings, violations and appeals that are in process and provides instructions on how to appeal policy warnings for certain violations within 30 days and instructions on how to request a review after addressing a violation, as well as track the status of the violation.

Brown also explained that Google will continue to notify publishers of important policy issues through email when a policy is enforced on an app, an app receives a policy violation warning, when a warning turns into an enforcement, when a review request is received, when a review request is accepted and an app is re-monetized, and when a review request is rejected.
