IPG's Huge, Amazon To Present 'Change for Good' Hackathon At Cannes

Amazon and Huge are bringing the 'Change for Good' Hackathon to Cannes 2019.

Working with Earth Day Network and the Earth Challenge 2020 global citizen science initiative, the hackathon will bring together global creatives and technologists to tackle the world's most pressing environmental issues. They include air quality, water quality, biodiversity, pollution and human health.

Six selected teams will be charged with ideating and creating technical solutions and complementary creative campaigns that motivate people to contribute, understand, share and act on data.

The focus is tackling key environment challenges.

Teams will be supported by Amazon technologists, citizen scientists, engineers, global influencers and creatives from Huge.

A judging panel composed of data scientists, nonprofit environmental organizations and influential creatives in the industry will help select the winners. They will be recognized on the Main Stage on the final day of the Cannes Festival.
