In-app Campaign Gives Crown Lift Trucks A Lift

The Challenge

Crown Lift Trucks needed to raise awareness about its forklift service and rentals.

The Execution

Berry Network implemented a B2B dynamic mobile display advertising program for Crown Lift Trucks. The campaign was delivered in-app through banners and full-screen ads across a network of leading apps throughout the United States. 

The campaigns targeted four U.S. cities by personalizing the ads with local Crown dealer information and by targeting 9-to-5 workers within a geo-fence surrounding warehouses and distribution centers that would benefit most from Crown’s products and services. 

When the banner is clicked by the user, an expandable in-app panel appears with more information at multiple calls-to-action, such as downloading the Crown Service App that lets clients quickly schedule service calls on their forklift equipment or rent equipment. Users can also click to learn more, click for directions to the nearest Crown dealer, or click to call the nearest dealer. 

The Results

  • The campaigns delivered an average click-through rate 18% higher than the average CTR for Google Ad Words in the B2B sector. 
  • The program also delivered an impressive $1.36 cost-per-click.
