Cleveland-based independent creative agency Marcus Thomas has promoted Scott Chapin to Chief Operating Officer.

Thomas, who joined the agency in 2011, was previously senior vice president of analytics. 

Chapin became an agency partner in 2015. As COO of the 200-plus person agency, he will oversee all operations including process, staff utilization and leadership initiatives.

He will continue to support the agency’s clients directly as partner-in-charge on several accounts.
