The Trade Desk Taps Vevo's Carson As 1st Chief Revenue Officer

The Trade Desk, which has emerged as a marketer leader servicing agencies and clients on programmatic media-buys, has named digital ad industry veteran Jonathan Carson its first Chief Revenue Officer.

He joins from Vevo, where he also was Chief Revenue Officer, and prior to that was CEO of digital at Nielsen, where he led the audience measurement firm’s digital and mobile strategy across more than 70 countries.

Carson joined Nielsen when it acquired the social media analytics company, BuzzMetrics, which he co-founded and led as CEO.
