McCann Worldgroup has promoted Alex Lubar to President of McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific.  Previously he was CEO of McCann London and earlier was the agency’s Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Sheryl Marjoram, who has been managing director of McCann London, will succeed Lubar as CEO. 

Lubar, who will be based in Singapore, succeeds Charles Cadell, who will work through a transition period. He’ll report to Prasoon Joshi, APAC Chairman and CEO and CCO of McCann Worldgroup India. 

 McCann Worldgroup, which is marking its 60th anniversary in the Asia Pacific region this year, has agencies in all major markets throughout the region. It is recognized as the region’s most creatively effective network according to the 2019 Effie Index.

Marjoram has been part of the London management team along with joint Chief Creative Officers Rob Doubal and Laurence Thomson and Chief Strategy Officer Theo Izzard-Brown.
