#DanceLikeADad Campaign

A new campaign from the Ad Council, timed to Father’s Day,  encourages dads to play an active role in their children’s lives. The Ad Council partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families (ACF), and the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse on the effort.

The  #DanceLikeADad creative, developed with Campbell Ewald, features fathers amusing their children with their dancing moves to illustrate that the "smallest moments spent with their children can sometimes make the biggest difference."

The campaign's tagline “Make a moment. Dance Like A Dad” underscores this message while viewers are directed to Fatherhood.gov to find tips, tools, and additional information.

“This new campaign is an opportunity to see dads engaging with their kids in a carefree and fun way,” said Kenneth Braswell, project director for the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse and CEO for Fathers Incorporated.

The ads run across donated media, supported with social media on Facebook and Twitter. Later, the campaign will launch a partnership with the WWE to extend the reach and impact of this initiative.
