Publicis UK Appoints First CCO

Publicis Groupe is hiring Ben Mooge for the newly created position of Chief Creative Officer, Publicis Groupe UK.

In his role, Mooge will partner with Publicis Groupe UK CEO Annette King, to deliver the Groupe's “Power Of One” creative mission for clients. He will also be responsible for leveraging and nurturing the creative talent and output across Publicis Groupe UK’s agencies.

The role is one of the first country CCO remits, following the appointment of Nick Law last year as Publicis Groupe global CCO. Mooge will work closely with Law to form part of the global creative collective that seeks to span a range of skill-sets encompassing experience design, data, tech and storytelling.

He starts in September 2019, joining the Publicis Groupe UK ComEx and reporting to both King and Law.

Mooge began his career in 1997 at then start-up agency Mother rising to Creative Director. Ten years later, he left to join another start-up - Work Club - as joint Creative Partner. In 2014, the agency was acquired by Havas Worldwide, with Mooge becoming ECD of Havas London.
