Gmail outages that started on Monday continued into Tuesday and possibly later, according to downdetector.

A moderate issue affecting the UK and the East and West coasts of the U.S. began on 10:13 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, and downdetector reports that there are possible problems on Wednesday, mostly involving log-in and receipt of messages.

“400 google error saying my inbox does not exist/cannot be found,” writes one Gmail user on downdetector in a comment posted around 3 a.m. Wednesday. 

“I have lost all my emails from before 14th June 2019 NZT. Not archived...just gone....” writes another early in a Tuesday evening post.

Still another asked, “Gmail is down?”

However, one commenter said service was working.

The week's outages began at 1:09 EDT on Monday, and Gmail apparently went to work correcting the issue.

Gmail stated in a service post: "The problem with Gmail should be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better. Affected messages will be retried and delivered with additional delays."

Last month, Gmail experienced outage in the U.S., largely in the Northeast and Southern California. The problems began on Monday May 6, spiking around 5:20 p.m. EDT. Gmail said it had corrected the issue later that evening.
