Sitecore Upgrades Its Experience Platform And Content Hub

Sitecore has added features to its Sitecore Experience Platform and Site Content Hub that can help users speed up time to market while achieving greater cost controls, the firm announced on Monday.

In addition, Sitecore has launched a Content Marketing Platform and enhanced its Managed Cloud offerings.

Together, the changes will provide users with easier management of personalized experiences, including content planning and delivery, states Desta Price, executive vice president of product management at Sitecore.

The releases of version 9.2 of Sitecore Experience Platform and version 3.2 of Sitecore Content Hub provide these features:

  • Integration of Sitecore DAM with Sitecore web content management systems in a single user experience.
  • Alignment between Sitecore JavaScript Services and Sitecore Experience Accelerator
  • Personalization Reporting
  • Data Purging

In addition, Sitecore’s mid-year updates include Managed Cloud offerings that are built on Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL Database, Azure Machine Learning, and Dynamics 365, Sitecore Managed Cloud includes: 

  • Support for Sitecore Experience Manager (XM), Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), and Sitecore Experience Database (xDB)
  • 99.9% availability on topology
  • infrastructure monitoring and support
  • Customer Success Manager, including personal onboarding
  • Application-level and security monitoring
  • SOLR, WAF, and CDN support
  • Disaster recovery and database backup/restore
  • Compatibility with on-premise environments

These improvements can “simplify the lives of marketing and IT teams,” claims Scott Guthrie, executive vice president, Microsoft Cloud + AI Group.
