EverTrue Adds Data To Fundraising Profiles

EverTrue has added TrueView data to its donor profiles, including contact and career information, demographics, interests, social profile and wealth indicators.

The firm utilizes a data point such as an email address or phone number to deliver this information, it says.

The goal is to help development teams and gift officers identify new prospects, more quickly establish rapport and drive more support, states Brent Grinna, founder and CEO of EverTrue.

EverTrue clients can access the data for free, and will soon be able to add premium features, including the ability to export enriched data.

Fundraisers are “no longer reliant on static profiles or printed constituent records,” states Chris Campbell, senior associate vice president of information strategy at client Oklahoma State University Foundation.

Campbell adds that "development officers can open their iPhone before a meeting and see, in real-time" how prospects are engaging with the company.

The available data points include:

Among the new data points are:

  • Personal interests
  • Twitter integration
  • Interest scoring
  • Career information
  • Updated locations
  • Social media handles
  • Demographic information, including new or married status and age.

EverTrue notes that donor counts are down 33% since 2005, according to the Voluntary Support of Education Survey, and that philanthropic support has dropped for the first time in five years, according to the e Giving USA 2019 Report.
