The series, dubbed “My Game: Tiger Woods,” features 10-minute episodes released on a weekly basis. In each, Woods offers insights and tips for success around key elements of the game, including approach play, short game, putting, recovery shots, strength and conditioning, equipment choices and course-management skills.
“For ‘My Game: Tiger Woods,’ it has been a major advantage to be able to reach the passionate golf fan and player community in the U.S. through Golf Digest and its Schools instructional platform,” Alex Kaplan, president-General Manager, Discovery Golf, told Publishers Daily.
“We knew we wanted to create a series with Tiger that not only encompassed his accomplishments and approach to the game, but provided strong advice and instructional elements, which come across in each episode of the series.”

Following a deal with Discovery earlier this year, which saw the company buy Golf Digest from Conde Nast, the series can be viewed in the U.S. on the Golf Digest School subscription and elsewhere in the world on GolfTV.
Kaplan said: “Our GolfTV and Golf Digest teams are already deep into the planning for the next edition of "My Game: Tiger Woods," as well as looking at how we extend the "My Game" franchise with other players.”
The series, sponsored by ePlus Technology, offered an occasion for the many arms of Discovery Golf’s division to work together. According to Kaplan, now that the acquisition is several months past, the brands are looking for even deeper ways to connect their audiences.
Kaplan said the strategy is to “utilize the strengths of both Golf Digest and our international GolfTV offering, working to establish an editorial powerhouse that can deliver the very best golf content across all platforms and to millions of passionate golf fans and players all around the world,” Kaplan said. He added that presenting "My Game: Tiger Woods" to U.S. audiences is “a great example of how we’re putting this into practice.”
The first episode of “My Game: Tiger Woods” is available on the Golf Digest School platform.
