To help promote its coming Pro Pilot 2.0 advanced driver assistance system, Nissan created a high-tech golf ball that automatically finds its way into the hole.
The system uses an external camera linked to software that locates the hole and the ball while an algorithm controls an internal motor in the ball.
The route of the Pro Pilot Golf Ball to the hole is directed wirelessly, as detailed in a company video.
The advanced driver assistance system coming to Nissan vehicles uses high-precision map data, cameras and radar.
The system allows hands-off driving in the same lane but not in other conditions, such as face-to-face roads, tunnels and curved roads, according to Nissan.
