Campaign for Freedom PSAs Aim to Remind

The Advertising Council has produced a new print public service advertisement on behalf of its Campaign for Freedom. Created pro bono by TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles, the print PSA is designed to remind Americans about the importance of the freedoms upon which our country was founded. The Campaign For Freedom launched July 1 to coincide with Independence Day and included eight TV spots and one newspaper ad. The new PSA uses the same theme but illustrates a different freedom, religion. All PSAs developed for the campaign end with the tagline, "Freedom: Appreciate it. Cherish it. Protect it." The PSAs are being distributed by the Ad Council to more than 4,500 newspapers nationwide. FastChannel Network Inc. is donating its services for the distribution.
