Sky News has something of a rare story today, a breakdown of Amazon's tax liability that shows the US tech giant in a more favourable light. The story claims that through all direct and
indirect taxes Amazon companies operating in the UK paid a combined total of GBP220m. The biggest constituent was national insurance payments, followed by business rates and corporation tax.
