Reach, formerly Trinity Mirror, is trialling a paywall on a its "Examiner Live" website for Huddersfield to establish if there is a willingness among readers to pay for local content.

Gazette reveals that the trial will allow people to buy credits that can be spent on micro-payments for each article read.
