Benchmark Email and SaaS provider Hatchbuck have merged to create what they say is a global CRM and email marketing automation company. Terms were not disclosed.

Jonathan Herrick, previously CEO and co-founder of Hatchbuck, will serve as CEO. Curt Keller, previously CEO of Benchmark, will now be chief innovation officer and Chairman of the Board.

Alkali Partners served as an advisor during the merger process.

The combined company has 130 employees. Its two U.S. offices are located in St. Louis and Los Angeles, and it has a presence in 15 countries. Altogether, it serves 150 users, it says.

The new combined entity will use the Benchmark name.
