A search committee made up of representatives from seven milk brands selected Rani from what they call a "large pool" of candidates. “Not only does she have a proven marketing track record tackling some very similar brand obstacles during challenging times, but she’s also immensely collaborative and has the courage and candor to help continue to drive impact in our industry," explains Lynne Bohan, vice president of communications and government affairs, HP Hood and chair of the CEO search committee.

Rani will be relocating to Washington, D.C. to lead the MilkPEP team. "The milk industry continues to face material challenges that need to be addressed with thoughtful, sustained solutions,” she says. “The children of America deserve to grow up with milk as a foundational part of their diet, and to carry that commitment into their own families.”
