Global sports nutrition company Glanbia Performance Nutrition has named Cogniscient Media, part of MARC USA, to be its new media agency.
Cogniscient will handle media channels including paid and organic social, influencers, content strategy, digital video and display for its Optimum Nutrition and BSN brands.
The selection, following a competitive review, adds to Cogniscient’s 2019 win tally which also includes Jelmar’s CLR, another leading CPG brand, and the Maryland Lottery.
Dave Buklarewicz, executive vice president and executive media director at Cogniscient said the agency would utilize its combined behavioral/data sciences approach to “uncover hidden growth within the very competitive category of sports nutrition. Our goal is not just media KPIs but also to drive quantifiable business results.”
The approach, added Buklarewicz, will include leveraging the client’s reputation, organic social assets and “passionate influencers.”
