Uber Adds E-Mopeds To Ridesharing Options

Uber plans to add e-mopeds to its ride-sharing fleet, adding the service into the Uber app in Paris next month.

In a partnership with French startup Cityscoot, Uber is offering e-mopeds for the first time anywhere in the world, according to a blog post by Uber.

“We see it as another step towards our goal to become a one-stop shop for all transportation needs,” stated Uber.

With the Cityscoot option in the Uber app, consumers can locate and book one of 4,000 available e-mopeds for 29 cents per minute, automatically charged via the Uber app.

I see what they did here.  They can advertise the "I-Peds" as a "self driving"  fleet !!

Personally, this will be a Never-Stop shop for any transportation.

Did anyone do the math on the I-peds?  $18.00 an hour for a nice-weather-only,  slo-mo death-trap??

They relly do prey on the stupidity of humans

It is just time before they will be illegal especially dumb tourists going crazy and people get hurt and killed. Busy city with very small streets and traffic on the large boulevards with circles and different rules of the road.
