Aegis Group, the U.K.-based parent of Carat, continues to expand globally, announcing a deal Tuesday morning to acquire a 52 percent stake in Russian media shop Komandarm, which will adopt the name
Vizeum Russia. Vizeum is Aegis second media network, which operates mainly in Europe. Under the agreement Aegis said it would also acquire the outstanding equity by 2009. The purchase price for 100%
of the equity is projected to be $19.5 million payable over five years and subject to certain criteria.
