SparkPost, an email delivery and analytics firm, has named Sam Holding as head of international.

Holding will be tasked with aligning the company's go-to-market, business development and customer success strategies, the company says.

The hire is part of an effort to “continue expanding our business focus abroad," states Rich Harris, CEO of SparkPost.

Previously, Holding served as senior director, EMEA at Oracle Data Cloud. He also worked at Trinity Mirror, France Telecom, Experian, Adform and Datalogix, a firm later acquired by Oracle.

SparkPost says it sends 5 trillion messages per year for its clients.
